Privacy Policy

1. Your files

Bynd PDF's tools — merging, splitting, editing, compressing, signing, and everything else on this site — run as JavaScript inside your own browser tab. When you open a PDF or image in a tool, it is read, processed, and saved right there on your device using your browser's own memory. It is never sent to any server we operate, so there is nothing for us — or anyone else — to see, store, or leak. Closing the tab clears it completely, unless you've downloaded the result yourself.

This applies to every tool on the site, including the AI-assisted ones (like Background Removal). The AI model itself is downloaded once from a public model host so it can run locally in your browser — your photo is never sent anywhere to be processed.

2. What we actually collect

We don't run user accounts, and using any tool requires no sign-up. Here is the complete list of the only two ways any information about you reaches us:

• If you use the Contact form — your name, email address, and message are sent to us so we can reply. We use this only to respond to you, and never share it or show it publicly.
• If Google AdSense ads are shown on this site — Google and its advertising partners may use cookies or similar technology to show ads and measure their performance. We don't control this data ourselves; see Section 4 below for how to manage it.

We do not run our own analytics or tracking scripts, and we do not sell or share any information with third parties beyond what's described here.

3. Local storage on your device

To remember small preferences — your chosen language, light/dark theme, and any tools you've starred as favorites — this site uses your browser's local storage. This data stays on your device only; it is never transmitted to us or anyone else, and clearing your browser data removes it.

4. Advertising (Google AdSense)

This site is kept free using Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites, and third-party vendors may show Bynd PDF ads across the internet.

• You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
• You can also opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info.

5. Cookies

Beyond the advertising cookies described above, Bynd PDF itself does not set any tracking cookies. The preferences described in Section 3 use local storage, not cookies.

6. Children's privacy

Bynd PDF is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since the tools themselves require no sign-up and process files only on-device, the only way we'd ever receive personal information from anyone is through the Contact form.

7. Your rights

Since your files and PDFs never reach us, there's nothing on our side to access, correct, or delete for the tools themselves. If you've contacted us through the Contact form, you can ask us to delete that message at any time by emailing us at the address below.

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
