Frequently asked questions
Can I change the existing text in the PDF?
Yes. Choose Edit text and click a line: it is covered with a patch matching the page background and an editable text box with the same wording, size and colour is placed on top. The font is approximated with Helvetica, and the original text stays in the file underneath — to remove sensitive text for good, use Redact PDF instead.
Are my edits private?
Yes. The editor runs entirely in your browser tab; nothing is uploaded.
Can I edit any PDF?
Edit PDFs you own or have permission to change. Altering a document in order to deceive or forge is prohibited — you are responsible for what you create with the tool.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Bynd PDF runs entirely in your browser, so your files are processed on your own device and never sent to us or anyone else.
